About the Open Call

Lucie Foundation invites photographers to join 'On the Block', a competition celebrating the unposed, unfiltered, and fleeting moments that define the art of documenting everyday life, whether in dense urban streets or sleepy rural towns. From street photography to urban landscapes, the competition seeks images that reveal quiet truths and vivid stories. 40 photographers will be selected for a group exhibition at The REEF in Los Angeles.

What is Offered

Grand Prize ($1,000 cash, interview, 16x20 print, and poster); three Category Winners ($250 cash, 16x20 print, and poster); and inclusion in a group exhibition at The REEF and online for 40 photographers.

Requirements

Open to all photographers worldwide. Works must fit within the broad theme of street photography. AI-generated images are not accepted. Submissions must be in JPG format.
