GlogauAIR
GlogauAIR’s On-line Program Residency is open to all nationalities and art disciplines. This program brings artists together on-line to discuss, work, collaborate, be engaged and inspired. It is designed for artists who are unable to travel, offering flexibility to continue living and working in their existing setting while benefiting from international exchange and professional support. The program includes curatorial support, mentoring sessions, regular group meetings, talks by experts, and workshops. The program fee covers curatorial support, planned participation in online talks and activities, and media and communication support, including the creation, editing, and printing of a Catalogue and Flyer, distribution of a Press Release, images for promotional materials, a dedicated website page for the artist's profile, a campaign for the promotion of Virtual Open Studios, and useful exposure through GlogauAIR's networking and social media platforms. Meetings typically occur Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Berlin time, with flexibility for time differences. The program spans three months, featuring a structured schedule that includes monthly meetings, individual curator advisories, presentations by the founder Chema Alvargonzalez, art marketing talks, virtual studio visits with external curators, and culminating in Virtual Open Studios. Artists are required to prepare contact details, an Artist Statement (max 600 characters), Vita and Exhibitions (max 600 characters), 3-10 images of their work, and a Project Description (max 600 characters) specifying their interest in the residency and its benefit to their practice. Information regarding funding and visa will also be collected via the application form. All payments must be made via bank transfer, with any associated bank charges assumed by the candidate.
