GlogauAIR
GlogauAIR’s On-line Program Residency is open to all nationalities and art disciplines. This program brings artists together online to discuss, work, collaborate, be engaged, and inspired. It is designed for artists who cannot travel, offering a flexible structure that allows them to continue living and working in their existing setting while experiencing international exchange and professional support. The program includes curatorial support and mentoring sessions, regular group meetings, talks by experts, and workshops. Other art professionals like curators, art historians, writers, and musicians are also welcome, provided they participate in the Virtual Open Studios event at the end of their stay. The program fee covers curatorial support, participation in online talks and activities, and extensive media and communication support including the creation, edition, and printing of a Catalogue and Flyer, distribution of Press Releases, promotional images, dedicated website space, and social media promotion for the Virtual Open Studios event.

It includes a program of planned online talks, activities, and workshops, featuring presentations by experts and virtual studio visits with external curators. Participants benefit from media and communication support, including the creation, editing, and printing of a Catalogue and Flyer, distribution of Press Releases, promotional images, a dedicated profile page on the GlogauAIR website, and a campaign for the promotion of the Virtual Open Studios Event, ensuring valuable exposure through GlogauAIR's networking and social media platforms. The program fosters international exchange and provides a dynamic environment for artists to discuss, work, collaborate, and share ideas.
The program is open to artists of all nationalities and art disciplines, as well as other art professionals such as curators, art historians, writers, and musicians who engage in research work. Applicants must be able to participate in the Virtual Open Studios at the end of their stay. Artistic duos are welcome but must apply with one single project and will pay one program fee plus an additional 200 €/month. Applicants are required to provide contact details, an artist statement (max 600 characters), vita and exhibition history (max 600 characters), 3-10 work images, a project description (max 600 characters) outlining their proposed work and interest in GlogauAIR, and information regarding funding and visa status.
To apply for the Open Call, applicants must fill out a form available on the GlogauAIR website. This form requires: contact details (artistic name, name, surnames, phone number, current address, pronouns, social media links), an Artist Statement (max 600 characters), Vita and Exhibitions (max 600 characters), 3-10 images of your work, and a Project Description (max 600 characters) detailing the project for the residency and your interest in GlogauAIR and Berlin. Additionally, funding and visa information will be requested. Applicants are encouraged to sign up to receive notifications for future Open Calls.
