About the Open Call

The National Oil & Acrylic Painters’ Society (NOAPS) invites oil and acrylic painters to apply to their exhibit honoring the best in these mediums. This is an international juried online competition open to all artists 18 years of age and older. A total of 200 artworks will be accepted into the show and become eligible for various cash awards. The exhibition aims to showcase the mastery of the medium and original two-dimensional works completed within the last three years.

What is Offered

Awards include Best of Show ($1000), Second Place ($500), Third Place ($300), category-specific awards such as Best Landscape and Best Still Life ($200 each), Awards of Excellence ($100), and Merit Awards (1-year NOAPS membership).

Requirements

Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Work must be original 2D paintings using only oil and acrylic paints, completed in the last three years. Work must not have been previously accepted in any other NOAPS National or Online exhibitions. No mixed media, giclees, digital/photo reproductions, or works created in instructional settings are eligible. No use of Artificial Intelligence is permitted in the conception or development of the painting.

How to Apply

All entries must be submitted via Show Submit at https://showsubmit.com/show/noaps-2026-spring-international-online-exhibition. Digital files should be saved in universal .jpeg format with a minimum dimension of 1500 pixels on the longest edge.
