About the Open Call

OFF-SEASON Formentera Doc Residency is an open workspace for directors and filmmakers to observe and narrate the island of Formentera far from the high season. Participants will write, develop projects, and record images and sounds to create a documentary with a maximum duration of 15 minutes. The work produced may be premiered in July 2026 at the next edition of the Lago Film Fest in Italy.

What is Offered

Residency stay on Formentera island from April 13 to 20, 2026, and potential film premiere at Lago Film Fest in Italy.

Requirements

The only requirement is the realization of a documentary (max 15 mins) shot and edited on-site. Credits must include the logos of Formentera Film, Lago Film Fest, and Piattaforma Lago.
