About the Open Call

Exhibition 'Ghost Town', curated by Ellen Hackl Fagan of ODETTA Gallery, explores abandoned places and objects—evoking desolation, melancholy, and nostalgia through faded signs, storefronts, and locations encountered in everyday life and travel. Part homage to overlooked remnants of the past and part cautionary tale on transience, the exhibition transforms the mundane into narratives of personal and collective memory, highlighting beauty in decay with wistful humor. The show features guest artists Patrick Sansone and Richard Klein as anchors, whose photographs and assemblages will dialogue with open call submissions.

What is Offered

Exhibition in a physical gallery space; artists retain 100% of sales (LIC-A takes 0% commission).

Requirements

Open to all media. No shipped work is accepted; artists must drop off work in person and install installation-based work. Artists are asked to volunteer for installation or gallery sitting. Application fee required ($30 for non-members, $15 for members).

How to Apply

Submissions must be entered via the online Jotform application link. Artists must upload images or video files of their work, provide an artist/work statement, and enter payment app information for potential sales.
