About the Open Call

Octubre corto is a short film festival for works under 30 minutes. The competition includes sections for Fiction, Animation, and Documentary, as well as a specific category for Riojan short films (Cortos riojanos). It is a GOYA qualifying festival. Participation is restricted to filmmakers from Spain.

What is Offered

16,000€ in cash prizes and GOYA qualification.

Requirements

Only for filmmakers from Spain. Short films must be under 30 minutes. Sections include Fiction, Animation, Documentary, and Riojan Shorts (which require a prominent role or filming location in La Rioja).
