About the Open Call

OASis is a European project aiming to create a network of open and free creative spaces. The Lisbon residency focuses on strengthening connections with the local community, particularly those over 50. Selected authors will engage in 5 days of residency and feature their work in an exhibition at the Goethe-Institut from October 6 to November 1, 2026. Intervention zones include the cafeteria, staircase, or garden wall of the historic Valmor Palace.

What is Offered

1,300 EUR artist fee, up to 400 EUR for production materials, accommodation in Lisbon, meals, and 25m2 workspace.

Requirements

Applicants must be willing to engage with the local community. Projects must be site-specific to the three designated zones at the Goethe-Institut.
