Bonavista Biennale
The Curator(s) will research, develop, and articulate a curatorial theme, select artists, oversee site preparation, and coordinate installations for the 2027 Bonavista Biennale. The role requires experience with site-specific installations, community-based projects, and a valid driver's license. The curator will work under the Executive Director and lead various aspects of exhibition planning, communication, and budget management.
Total flat fee of $30,000 CAD plus expenses and a $2,500 research travel stipend.
Driver’s license required. Experience with site-specific installations and community projects. Ability to travel for research and installation. Must be able to work independently or as part of a small team in a remote, rural environment.
