About the Open Call
Hunter Guise Gallery presents an international open call for 2D visual media (excluding photography and sculpture) focused on the theme of Northern Skies. Seeking works that capture the emotion of looking up, from aurora and starfields to winter twilight. The curator encourages a focus where the sky is the dominant subject (at least 70% of composition). Selected works will be showcased in a curated online exhibition and are eligible for cash prizes and professional recognition.
What is Offered
Online exhibition display, cash awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, honourable mentions, and People's Choice awards, plus promotional spotlight features.
Requirements
Artists must be 18+. All work must be original; no AI-generated art, no work from workshops or instruction, no stock photography. 2D visual media only (no photography or sculpture). Maximum 3 images per artist.
