Newcastle Puppetry Festival Artist Call Out

About the Open Call

We are seeking indoor stage shows (adults, teens, families, early years), outdoor roaming acts, outdoor shows, cabaret, masterclasses and workshops featuring puppetry, object theatre, stop motion animation, kinetic art, or automata. Selected artists are paid to present work with additional coverage for travel, food, and accommodation. Artists from around the world are eligible to apply, though those outside of Europe should consider external funding support for travel.

Requirements

Work must feature puppetry, object theatre, stop motion animation, kinetic art, or automata. Physical theatre or circus acts without puppetry are unlikely to be booked.
