Pavilion Dance South West
New Waves is an opportunity to present work-in-progress to peers and the general public for constructive feedback. The event takes place on Wednesday 25 March 2026, preceding the South West Dance Summit. Four selected acts will be presented in a no-tech environment (working light only) with the theatre's sound system. Following the 15-minute presentations, the audience will provide informal feedback on stage.
A bursary cash payment of £200 to help cover expenses, plus rehearsal time and space either the day before or on the day of the performance.
Must be a South West-based artist or company. Work-in-progress pieces must be no longer than 15 minutes. Artists must be self-sufficient during rehearsals (no technical support provided) and comfortable chairing audience feedback sessions.
Applicants must complete the online Microsoft Form provided on the website or submit a video/voice note (maximum 5 minutes) outlining contact details, location, and a description of the piece, along with a filmed example of previous work to jobs@pdsw.org.uk with 'Scratch Night March 2026' in the subject line.
