Creative West
The Native Arts + Heritage Fund (NAHF) centers care, cultural continuity, and self-determination. Co-designed with Native-centered artists and advisors, the fund honors Indigenous ways of knowing and values process over product. Selected artists participate in a three-month virtual cohort experience designed for connection, reflection, and shared learning. This is not a project-based grant but an invitation into funding and relationships.
$2,500 in unrestricted funding and a three-month virtual cohort experience for connection and shared learning.
Applicants must be individual artists or culture bearers; at least 18 years old; reside in one of the 12 specified Creative West states; be deeply connected to an Alaska Native or Native American community; and work in any creative or cultural form.
Applicants must create an account on the Creative West GoSmart portal and submit an application by the deadline. Information sessions are available via Zoom registration.
