Musicians Foundation, Inc.
The Musicians Foundation provides one-time financial assistance grants to professional music performers, composers/arrangers, and educators across all genres. These grants are intended for those experiencing a specific time of need caused by unexpected hardships like medical or dental situations, natural disasters, or housing crises. Grants are issued as vendorized checks made out directly to the biller (e.g., doctor, landlord, utility provider) and are mailed to the artist's home address for delivery.
One-time financial grants paid directly to vendors to cover essential bills.
Applicants must be professional music performers, composers/arrangers, or educators; must have worked as a professional musician in the United States for 5 or more years; must currently reside in the U.S.; must have filed taxes as a musician for 5 or more years and provide a recent tax return; and must be facing an unexpected hardship.
Interested applicants must click the Apply Now button on the foundation's website to create an account and complete Part 1 of the application via Submittable. If initially eligible based on Part 1, applicants will receive an email invitation to complete a more detailed Part 2 application requiring document uploads.
