Museum of Northern California Art (monca)
This exhibition celebrates the beauty, mystery, and significance of the microscopic, the miniature, and the overlooked. We invite works that magnify the unnoticed and reveal worlds within worlds. Artists are encouraged to explore scale, detail, and viewpoint. All media are welcome, though no AI or giclée prints of non-photographic art will be accepted. The exhibit will be on view from March 19 to May 3, 2026.
Selected works will be exhibited at the Museum of Northern California Art. Artists may sell their work, with a 50% commission going to the museum.
Open to artists residing in Northern California (San Jose and points north, east, and west to the state border). Work must be original, dry, and ready to hang with framing wire (no sawtooth hangers). AI-generated work is prohibited.
Submit up to 3 original works via the online Google Form link and pay the entry fee ($35 for non-members, $25 for members) online, in person, or by check to monca by the deadline.
