Museum Foundation of the Philippines, Inc.
The grant program supports five priority areas: Research and Study Projects featuring the National Museum's collections, Publications on Philippine Art and Culture, Curatorial Projects/Retrospectives of significant Philippine artists (aged 50+ or posthumous), Professional Development for museum professionals, and Museum Audience Development programs. Funds are disbursed in tranches upon submission of progress reports.
Grant funding disbursed in tranches, project-based financial support, and institutional partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement.
Applicants must be MFPI members in good standing. Projects must receive endorsement from non-profit cultural or educational institutions. Proposals must align with MFPI funding priorities and cannot be for-profit, commercial, or focused on ephemeral/performing arts. Curatorial grants require submission at least one year prior to the exhibition date.
Applications must be submitted as a single PDF file (max 25MB) via email to grants@museumfoundationph.org. The application must include a completed Grant Application Form, a cover letter specifying the funding priority, and proof of MFPI membership (or a membership application). Curatorial projects require additional documentation including a curatorial brief and artist CV.
