About the Open Call

The Morris Museum, in partnership with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, invites submissions for the 2026 New Jersey Arts Annual. Titled 'Common Ground: NJ Artists Think Monumental,' the exhibition transforms the museum's 8.4-acre campus into a landscape of contemporary art. The call seeks sculptural works, installations, and large-scale digital mural reproductions that respond to scale, terrain, and public space. Juried by Johannah Hutchinson, Executive Director of the International Sculpture Center, the exhibition celebrates creativity beyond traditional gallery walls.
