Millay Arts
The Millay Arts Core Residency offers a creative cohort environment for 6-7 multidisciplinary artists. Facilities include the historic Barn and Main Building, featuring private studios, private bedrooms, shared living spaces, a B&W darkroom, and multiple libraries. The residency is fully subsidized, requiring only a $100 deposit upon acceptance. Artists can apply for individual, collaborative (2 residents), or collective (3-7 residents) stays. A blind jury process is used to select participants based on merit.
Fully-subsidized residency, private bedroom and studio, bedding/linens, shared living spaces, groceries, communal dinners prepared by an in-house chef, darkroom access, library access, and potential stipends to offset expenses.
Applicants must submit a work statement and work samples through a blind jury process (all identifying information must be removed). Proposals for collaboratives or collectives require a project description and history of the partnership.
Applications must be submitted through the Millay Arts Submittable portal. The portal opens mid-November for the March 1st deadline and mid-April for the October 1st deadline.
