About the Open Call

The Winter/Spring Session Micro-Residency at Bischoff Inn provides a quiet and productive environment for artists to integrate creative practice into their time off. The program is specifically tailored for writers, composers, photographers, graphic designers, and artists working in textile or small-scale 2D media. Since there is no separate studio, work must be compatible with a hotel room environment. The residency encourages relaxation and self-directed productivity, attracting artists, teachers, and families.

What is Offered

Private room and bathroom, queen bed, linens, towels, Wi-Fi, climate control, smart TV, access to a communal lounge with kitchenette facilities, and a 4-foot folding table and chair for a workspace. Residency fee is $350 per week.

Requirements

Artists must work in approved media (no paints, sculpture, or materials that could damage the space). Stays are between 1 and 14 days. Residents are responsible for their own travel and materials.

How to Apply

Artists should apply via the online form available on the Bischoff Inn website. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and accepted artists book their preferred dates through a provided payment link on a first-come, first-served basis.
