About the Open Call

The Michigan Movement Performance Project (M2P2) invites gifted dancers for four weeks of rigorous physical research, creation processes, reel development, professional mentorship, and interaction with hiring companies. Participants will apprentice with companies including FLOCKWORKS, VIM VIGOR, and choreographer Marion Castaillet. The program includes workshops and auditions with Dance Kaleidoscope, Cyrie Topete, and Eisenhower Dance. The intensive culminates in public performances and professional filming of original works to support artists' career development.

What is Offered

Professional mentorship, creation of three original ensemble works, professional reel filming and development, networking with national companies, weekend workshops, and auditions.

Requirements

Applicants must be 18+ years old and seeking to advance in the dance field. This is an advanced platform for rising artists that operates like a professional company. Daily commitment from 9:00 to 17:00/20:00 plus some weekend availability is required. Participants are responsible for tuition ($1650), housing, travel, and meals.
