About the Open Call

At Play is an open call for artists working from a place of curiosity. There are no medium restrictions and no specific thematic destination. The exhibition is blind-juried by Gage Branda. Works will be displayed in the Maryland Federation of Art’s virtual gallery from August 14 to October 14, 2026. Entry is open to artists from the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Awards totaling $500 will be granted by the juror.

Virtual exhibition, opportunity for awards totaling $500, and inclusion in an online sales gallery for eligible artists.

Requirements

Artists must be residents of the United States, Canada, or Mexico. Maximum of 6 original works created within the past 3 years may be entered. Work must be for sale (or marked as Price on Request).
