About the Open Call

The Marta Hoepffner Prize for Photography honors the legacy of Marta Hoepffner by showcasing contemporary developments in black and white photography. Eligible participants must submit 3-5 recent black and white photographic prints (no more than 2 years old, max 40x50cm). Winners receive €3,000, an exhibition at the Hofheim am Taunus City Museum, and two copies of the exhibition catalog.

Requirements

Open to trained photographers and artists in their first five years of professional practice, students from their fourth semester onwards, and apprentices in their final year. Must submit 3-5 original black and white prints on the theme 'Behind the Looking Glass'.
