Mandel Institute for Nonprofit Leadership
The Mandel Cultural Leadership Program is a two-year fellowship for artists who instigate work that is courageous, boundary-breaking, and rooted in the richness of Jewish history and culture. The program aims to cultivate fellows’ creative wellsprings, leadership capacities, and collaborative networks through three curriculum strands: Imagination, Leadership, and Change. The experience includes intensive seminars, virtual meetings, and individualized advisor support.
A $40,000 stipend over 2 years, five in-person seminars (four in the US, one in Israel), bi-monthly virtual meetings, and dedicated advisor support.
Open to artists and cultural producers (including musicians, visual artists, writers, filmmakers, and more) with a desire to integrate Jewish themes into their work and a commitment to collaboration and intellectual curiosity.
Applications must be submitted via the Mandel Foundation's Submittable portal by the February 13, 2026 deadline.
