About the Open Call

Summer & Grace Gallery invites artists from across Canada to submit original works for a group exhibition that explores the Canadian flag as a symbol of place, memory, and identity. The gallery seeks visually compelling works that incorporate the flag through landscape, urban scenes, interiors, or abstract settings. In addition to the exhibition, three selected artists will receive a two-night residency at the Powagen Retreat in Muskoka in June 2026, which includes chef-prepared meals and plein air painting opportunities.
