About the Open Call
The 15th annual Lumen Prize seeks innovative art created with technology. The prize features three core award categories: Legacy Futures, Systems & Structures, and Experiential Innovation, each with a $5,000 prize. A Gold Award winner is selected from all entries to receive an additional $15,000. The prize also includes a dedicated student award category for enrolled students.
What is Offered
Total prize fund of $30,000; winners receive monetary awards, inclusion in the Lumen Artist Community, and an invitation to the awards ceremony at Kunstsilo Museum.
Requirements
Artists working with technology are eligible. For the student award, applicants must be enrolled in a BA, BFA, MFA, MA, or PhD program (or equivalent) and provide proof of student ID.
