About the Open Call

Selected keyholders work independently with access to LESP’s Community Studio — including solvent/etching areas and darkroom — and benefit from critical feedback, group salons, and exhibition opportunities. Artists from diverse disciplines are welcome, though some familiarity with printmaking processes is encouraged.

What is Offered

Studio space and access to printmaking facilities.

Requirements

Emerging artists only — defined as under-recognized and under-represented individuals in early career stages. Must reside in the New York metro area for the full residency period. No student status — applicants enrolled in degree programs during the residency are not eligible. Independent artists only; duos or teams are not accepted. Application includes: up to 10 digital images, an image list (name, title, year, medium, dimensions), a resume, and completed application form.
