About the Open Call

Long Meadow Art Residency (LMAR) offers solo residencies ranging from six weeks to three months in the Berkshire Mountains. LMAR provides ample studio space and on-site housing. The residency awards a $3,000 monthly stipend, a $2,500 supply budget, professional photography of artwork and artist, access to an engaged board, and a transportation vehicle. Fall residencies run September – December 2026, and Winter & Spring residencies run January – June 2027.

Requirements

Applicants must have a valid driver's license. The application requires an Artist Bio/CV, Artist Statement, and a portfolio of 8-10 images with details (title, medium).

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted through the online portal opening December 15, 2025. Applicants must upload a single combined PDF (max 25MB) containing an Artist Bio and/or CV, an Artist Statement, and 8-10 images of work (including 1-2 photos of recent work). A $35 processing fee is required upon submission.
