About the Open Call

LocotoResidencia is a four-week residency program located in Xochimilco. The program provides private accommodation, a shared workspace, weekly basic grocery baskets, four organized excursions, and mentorship/dialogue with the Locoto team. It concludes with an open studio and potential collective exhibition. The program is open to all artistic disciplines including visual arts, performance, writing, photography, sound, ceramics, and video.

What is Offered

Requirements

Artists with an active practice in any discipline. No age, nationality, or career level requirements. Must submit a CV, portfolio, project proposal, work plan, and letter of intent. Selected artists must pay a residency fee (2000 USD or 1650 USD).
