About the Open Call

The Let’s Get Weird: Surreal 3D Render Contest challenges artists to bend physics, remix dreams, and build impossible worlds where everyday objects become monsters or cities float in neon fog. Entries are judged on creativity, originality, and technical ability. Works will be displayed in the RenderHub gallery, and the contest features specific 'WTF Awards' for humorous entries.

What is Offered

$1,900 total prize pool: $750 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd place, $250 for 3rd place, and $50 each for eight honorable mentions.

Requirements

Must be a member of RenderHub (free registration). Submissions must be original 3D renders created specifically for the contest. Generative AI of any kind is strictly prohibited. Final renders must be at least 1920x1080 or 1080x1920 resolution. Open to individual artists 18 years or older.

How to Apply

Register for a free account on RenderHub.com and submit your entry via the official contest entry form. Artists must provide both final renders and screenshots of work-in-progress (wireframes or clay renders) to prove authorship.
