About the Open Call

The LOBA Women Grant launches in 2026 as part of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award. Aimed at addressing gender imbalance in the field of photography, it provides recognition and visibility for professional female photographers. The selected applicant will realize a photographic series exploring nuanced relationships between people and the environment, which will then be included in the LOBA shortlist and presented as part of the award series.

What is Offered

10,000 euros project funding, a Leica Q-Camera, and professional support throughout the project implementation and production period.

Requirements

Open to professional female photographers aged 21 and over. Submissions must be concepts for a new series exploring social, ecological, or political challenges.
