Town of Cary
First held in 1977, the Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival is a two-day event celebrating contemporary crafts and the visual and performing arts. The festival draws over 50,000 visitors and showcases approximately 300 artists from across the United States. It features interactive art activities, a beer garden, and the Jerry Miller Awards, which honor best-in-show artists. Proceeds from the festival fund the Lazy Daze Grant Program for local nonprofit arts organizations.

Artists must be present on-site during the entire festival. Work must be original; no mass-produced items, kits, or imports are permitted. Tents must be secured with 40+ lbs of weight per corner. Emerging artists are not eligible for this specific application category.
Artists must apply through the ZAPP system. The application requires images of the artist's work and an outdoor booth shot. Multiple applications (up to 3) are permitted for different bodies of work.
