About the Open Call

As part of the Airport’s ongoing plans to positively impact the traveler experience through art, the Airport Art Program is announcing an opportunity to create unique, large-scale, digital art that will be printed on heavy duty vinyl and installed in unique locations at the airport. Five artists will be invited to develop full proposals and be compensated $1,000 each. One or two selected artists will be awarded a $5,000 commission. Printing and installation costs are covered by the client.

What is Offered

$5,000 commission for selected artists; $1,000 compensation for 5 proposal finalists.

Requirements

Visual artists with a demonstrated track record of project completion from ideation to installation. Must submit a resume (max 2 pages) and 3-8 work examples documenting completed/installed works (no mockups only). Experience with large-scale flat art and large format digital printing is preferred. Artists are not allowed to apply in teams. Regional connection required.
