Venezia Contemporanea is a non-profit arts and culture organisation founded in 2007. Its mission is to support cultural initiatives that foster tolerance, coexistence, diversity, and inclusivity, while raising awareness about racism and prejudice. It hosts two year-round residency programs, La Storta and Skyline, offering artists and writers a chance to live and create in the unique atmosphere of the Venetian Ghetto, parallel to the city's Biennale events.
