About the Open Call
KUNSTRAUM invites emerging and mid-career artists to submit work for a group exhibition in Spring 2026. The exhibition, curated by KUNSTRAUM's 2026-27 Curator-in-Residence, focuses on experimental practices in painting, installation, and new media. Selected artists will have their work shown in a 250 sq ft gallery space within a 1,000 sq ft Brooklyn loft for four weeks, followed by a six-month online exhibition.
What is Offered
Four-week gallery exhibition, six-month online exhibition, and the opportunity to sell works with a 50% commission to the artist.
Requirements
Open to emerging and mid-career artists. All artworks must be under 60 inches on the longest side. Artists are responsible for all shipping expenses and must provide any specialized equipment or pedestals required for their presentation.
How to Apply
Submit materials via the designated Google Form. Applications must include 5 work samples (JPEG format, <1MB each), a PDF listing work details (title, year, medium, dimensions), a 250-word artist statement, and links to professional websites or social media.
