Kronenringe Art Residency Program
This unique residency program for jewellery artists offers 24/7 access to a fully equipped goldsmith’s workshop in the historic Bavarian town of Landsberg am Lech, Germany. Facilities include professional workbenches, storage space, access to Barbara’s historic tool collection, and a material library. The residency comprises a 3-month artistic stay followed by a 1-month orientation and completion period. Residents will engage in public workshop discussions with the local community and participate in excursions to a technical college and an academy. The program is supported by established partners in the jewellery field, who contribute expert advice, promote the competition, participate in the jury, and host exhibitions. Planned residency periods include November–February, March–July, and August–November.
This residency provides a fully financed stay, covering free accommodation in a private furnished holiday flat, travel expenses, and living costs. Residents receive a 3-month artistic stay plus a 1-month orientation and completion period, along with 24/7 access to a fully equipped goldsmith’s workshop.
