About the Open Call
The New School in Kopice offers individual and group residencies during the summer of 2026. The program invites artists, researchers, and activists to explore themes of ecology, permaculture, and alternative institutions. Specific emphasis is placed on acoustic music, field recording, landscaping, sculptures in nature, and DIY technology. Individual residencies run from July 13 to July 31, while group residencies take place in August.
What is Offered
Basic camping facilities, outdoor kitchen, studio tent, small library, networking, assistance with public events (concerts, openings), and dissemination via school media.
Requirements
Applicants must be respectful of nature and neighbors, contribute text and audio/visual materials to the online archive, and donate an inspiring book to the school's library. There is a residency maintenance cost on a sliding scale (120-300 Euro for individuals).
