Kirsten and Gunnar lived a life combining a strong love for nature, culture, and art. They founded this foundation to contribute to making their home city of Aarhus more beautiful. The foundation supports art and cultural life in Aarhus Municipality, primarily music, sculpture, visual art, and land art. Applicants must argue for how their work, project, or initiative contributes to a richer cultural environment in Aarhus.

What is Offered

In 2026, the foundation offers a pool for four annual grants of 300,000 DKK each.

Requirements

The applicant must demonstrate how the project or work specifically contributes to a richer art and cultural life in Aarhus Municipality. Projects should fall within music, sculpture, visual art, or land art.
