About the Open Call

The Kensington Art Fair is a juried event held over three days during Memorial Day Weekend. The fair features 100 juried artists along with food trucks, specialty foods, hands-on art projects, and busker performances. The artist selection committee reviews applications based on quality, originality, and variety. The event takes place at Maple Beach within Kensington Metropark.

Booth space in a juried art fair, opportunity for art sales, and exposure to a large audience over a holiday weekend.

Requirements

Artists are selected by a jury committee based on quality, originality, and variety. Emerging artist category is limited to those with experience in fewer than three art fairs. Performers are included as buskers working for tips or CD sales.
