About the Open Call
The JFKL Small Grant Programme is designed to provide financial support for projects across three categories: Japanese Arts & Cultural Exchange (Category A), Japanese Studies & Global Partnerships (Category B), and Japanese Language Education (Category C). The grant supports physical, hybrid, and online projects that foster cultural connections between Japan and the specified Southeast Asian nations.
What is Offered
Financial grant to support project costs related to Japanese cultural, linguistic, and educational exchange.
Requirements
Projects must promote understanding of Japan or cultural exchange between Japan and Malaysia, Singapore, or Brunei. For Category A and B, physical/hybrid applications must be submitted 3 months prior, and online applications 1 month prior. Category C applications must be submitted 1 month prior.
How to Apply
Interested applicants must download the Eligibility Check Sheet and Application Form from the JFKL website and submit the completed documents via email to the relevant category's contact address. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis but must adhere to lead-time requirements (1 to 3 months before project start).
