About the Open Call

The residency program hosts two three-month residents per year (Spring and Autumn) in the Drawing Office, where Sir John Soane’s draftsmen once worked. Residents are invited to use the Museum's collection, exhibitions, and education programme to inspire and inform their work. The program is supported by the Jerwood Foundation and is aimed at artists whose practice involves drawing as a critical tool or process.

What is Offered

Three-month residency, access to the Drawing Office workspace, and engagement with the Museum's collection, exhibitions, and education programme.
