About the Open Call

The Jerusalem International Solo Dance Festival (JISDF), directed by Miriam Engel, showcases five nights of international creations and original productions. The festival seeks solo and duo contemporary dance works between 5-35 minutes that explore unique artistic narratives. It includes performances on open-air and indoor stages, as well as an International Residency program for site-specific works researched in Jerusalem.

What is Offered

Artistic fees, coverage of flights and accommodation, full technical support, tech crew, tech rehearsals, and studio space access.

Requirements

Original solo or duo choreographies; professional works in contemporary dance, circus, or performance art; experienced choreographers (resume required); works must have premiered; duration 5-35 minutes; availability for the full festival period from September 14-19, 2026.
