Jerusalem International Choreography Competition 2026

About the Open Call

MASH Dance House cordially invites you to apply for the 11th Jerusalem International Choreography Competition, which will take place on December 9-10, 2026. MASH seeks original works that challenge the boundaries of choreography as a movement-based performing discipline. The competition is held during Jerusalem Dance Week, attended by large audiences as well as international dance professionals, competition and festival organizers. Criteria: length of work 9–15 minutes, maximum number of performers and staff: 4. Prizes: 1st €4,000, 2nd €3,000, 3rd €2,000, MASH Prize €1,500. Non-Israeli-based artists who do not win a prize will receive a €1,000 participation fee.

What is Offered

Cash prizes ranging from €1,500 to €4,000 for winners, and a €1,000 participation fee for non-winning non-Israeli artists.

Requirements

Work length: 9–15 minutes. Maximum performers and staff: 4 people. Completed application and payment of registration fee required.
