Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA)
Supported by the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Foundation, this fellowship is designed for visual artists. The residency includes a private bedroom with en-suite bath, a separate individual studio, and three meals a day in a community of cross-disciplinary artists. The program aims to support emerging visual artists and the arts, specifically through fully-funded residencies at VCCA's Virginia campus.
Fully-funded two-week or one-month residency, private bedroom, individual studio, three meals a day, and a $1,000 honorarium.
Must be a visual artist. Preference is given to artists of African American or Latin American descent.
To be considered, applicants must complete the “Application for Mt. San Angelo Residencies, VCCA in Virginia – Spring 2027” via the SlideRoom portal, selecting their fellowship interest in Question 2. Fee waivers are available if requested by May 10, 2026.
