About the Open Call

Clay City is a collaborative initiative between Throwing Shapes and Staycity in Dublin City. It offers one 12-month graduate program and three 3-month professional residencies for ceramic artists. The graduate residency provides full studio access, mentorship, and a subsidised apartment for one year, supporting early-career ceramicists. The professional residencies offer established artists 3-month access to a state-of-the-art ceramics studio for specific projects or dedicated research. The goal is to support career development, engage the community, and establish Dublin as a ceramics hub, removing financial barriers through free studio space and accommodation.

Requirements
