About the Open Call

PigPrints is an artist-run printmaking workspace based in Milan that provides professional-quality printmaking facilities to artists and printmakers of every skill level. Specializing in intaglio print, they publish and exhibit original, limited-edition etchings and other works on paper by emerging as well as established contemporary artists. Founded in 2010 by Guido Pigni to involve other artists in etching, the studio expanded in 2020 to a new print workshop location. Today, PigPrints is open to international artist residencies, welcoming printmakers from all over the world year-round. They continue to invite artists for collaborative editions, producing 3-5 new works annually. Workshops are also held on request, open to all, including beginners. Visits to PigPrints are by appointment.
