International Open Call for Dance for the Screen Section - dAS Festival 2026

About the Open Call

dAS Festival is looking for dance films for its 2026 edition titled 'Tema e Variazioni'. The call is open to dance films created specifically for the screen from January 2025 onwards, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes. Music videos and documentation of live performances are excluded. Selected finalists will be screened on September 18, 2026, where the audience will choose a winner to be invited to the 2027 edition.

What is Offered

Screening of selected works during dAS Festival 2026; winning artist/collective invited to the 2027 edition program.

Requirements

Works must be created for the screen (not live documentation or music videos), created after Jan 2025, max 20 minutes duration, maximum two submissions per artist/collective, must hold all intellectual property rights, English subtitles required for non-Italian/English languages.
