About the Open Call

This opportunity provides artists with a professional curatorial review and high-quality publication in a hardcover book. The Artist Feature Catalogue aims to archive and promote experimental art through scholarly essays. The publication focuses on experimental and alternative forms of visual art including photography, performance, video, installation, and analogue digital work, while explicitly excluding traditional painting, drawing, and sculpture.

What is Offered

A six-page spread in a hardcover art book featuring a human-written curatorial review essay, inclusion in digital editions (website, Substack, Artwork Archive), and professional networking opportunities.

Requirements

Open to international artists. Portfolios made with artificial intelligence or Instagram links are not accepted. While there is no application fee, selected artists must make a $45 donation or purchase a book from the publisher's catalogue to cover human-written editorial costs.
