Interactive Phone Booth Proposal

About the Open Call

The Yavapai College Prescott Art Gallery invites artists to submit proposals to transform a vintage phone booth (8ft x 4ft x 4ft) into an interactive sculpture. The booth has existing electricity for a light and fan. Artists are encouraged to combine technology and aesthetics to create an interactive experience.

What is Offered

The selected artist will receive $1,000 for materials and construction, a $1,000 stipend, and a $500 travel allowance.

Requirements

The booth has electrical access; artists should plan for interactive installations that utilize this feature. Access to the physical booth for site-specific planning is available upon request.
