About the Open Call
The "Atelier" intensive offers a pedagogical approach for dancers, drawing from Pau Aran Gimeno's extensive experience with artists like Pina Bausch and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. It treats the dance studio as a workshop for experimentation, technique refinement, and creative identity discovery. The methodology is based on Jean Cébron's compositional elements (energy, form, space, rhythm) and inspired by the Jooss-Leeder method. The course aims to connect historical Western dance techniques with contemporary practice, fostering self-discovery and new communication methods in dance. It is designed for medium, advanced, and professional dancers.
What is Offered
Participants will receive intensive contemporary dance training and artistic development from Pau Aran Gimeno, focusing on technical refinement, creative identity discovery, and a shared physical language.
