About the Open Call

The Cultural Foundation Schloss Wiepersdorf awards residency fellowships to artists and writers in the areas of Literature, Humanities, Fine Arts (painting, sculpture, media arts, photography), and Composition. Fellowships last for three months and are granted for specific periods in 2027. The program supports both individual and collaborative artistic productions, focusing on quality of work and proposed projects. Fellows are required to reside at the castle for the majority of their fellowship duration.

What is Offered

Monthly cash stipend of 1,200 EUR, a one-time material grant of 480 EUR, room and board at Schloss Wiepersdorf, studio access for fine artists, and coverage of visa costs if required.

Requirements

Applicants must have completed an artistic or academic course of study, be working on a doctorate, or have distinguished professional experience. Proficiency in German or English is required. Not open to undergraduate students or individuals who received a Schloss Wiepersdorf fellowship in the last two years.
